Luego de experimentar con distintos géneros a lo largo de su carrera, Camila Fernández regresa a las raíces gracias con su nuevo disco, el cual se caracteriza por mostrar una nueva cara del mariachi, al tiempo que se presenta como un sentido homenaje a la pasión ranchera que ha formado parte de ella durante toda su vida.
‘Camila Fernández’, nombre de este LP, está conformado por 20 canciones, 10 de las cuales son originales, mientras las otras 10 son covers que sirvieron de inspiración para aquellas melodías inéditas, en un juego de trenzado musical que combina lo mejor del pasado con la elegancia, frescura y dinamismo del presente.
Además del juego musical, cada tema fue seleccionado para contar dos historias paralelas: por un lado, la manera en que la humanidad ha vivido el amor a lo largo de los últimos cien años; por otro, la historia misma de Camila, relatada a través de melodías significativas para ella, especialmente las que recuerdan la memoria de Vicente Fernández.
En ese sentido, el sencillo que acompaña este lanzamiento es “Aquí Lo Siento”, canción que La Fernández dedica a la partida de su abuelo, donde narra todas las vivencias que pudo compartir con él, así como el duelo personal que ha significado su partida, dándonos una letra sumamente conmovedora e íntima, la cual es interpretada por Camila con todo el sentimiento y calidad que la caracterizan.
