LOS EMBAJADORES INTERNACIONALES DE LA CUMBIA PRESENTAN SU NUEVO SENCILLO, AL LADO DEL ÍCONO INTERNACIONAL DE LA GUITARRA Y LA LEGENDARIA BANDA MEXICANA DE ROCK
El crossover más épico de la industria musical está aquí: Los Ángeles Azules fusionan su icónica cumbia con los inconfundibles solos de Santana y el imponente ska de Panteón Rococó. El resultado es “A todos los rumberos”, canción que se perfila para superar todos los récords que los hermanos Mejía Avante han roto durante más de 40 años de trayectoria.
El tema, que se estrenó el jueves 30 de noviembre a las 20:00 horas, fue escrito por Jorge Mejía Avante cuya pluma ha plasmado gran parte de los clásicos del grupo y que en esta ocasión también estuvo a cargo de la producción del sencillo, al lado de Rodolfo Lugo.
“A todos los rumberos” viene acompañado de un espectacular video oficial dirigido por Christian Schmid Rincón y producido por Nomad Media. Al igual que la canción, el clip es una fiesta infinita de acordes y colores que hipnotizan al espectador, llevándolo irremediablemente a la pista de baile.
Sin duda, con cada nuevo proyecto musical Los Ángeles Azules reafirman su posición como los máximos exponentes de la cumbia a nivel mundial. Su más reciente álbum, Cumbia Del Corazón (2022) ya suma 152 millones de streams en plataformas digitales y los videos que lo conforman rebasan los 201 millones de reproducciones.
Tras el éxito de esa producción, los hermanos Mejía Avante dieron a conocer sencillos que serán parte de un disco que aún no ve la luz. Una de esas increíbles canciones es “El amor de mi vida” Feat. Maria Becerra, la cual se mantuvo cuatro semanas en el #1 de radio en México; además, acumula 46 millones de escuchas, 76 millones de views en el mundo, es el #69 del Global Top Music Video en YouTube, es #1 en Colombia, Argentina, y Chile, mientras que en Estados Unidos se ubica en el Top 5.
Su disco anterior, De Buenos Aires Para el Mundo (2020), debutó en el #8 de la lista de Top Álbumes Regional Mexicano de Billboard, marcando su duodécimo álbum en ingresar al Top 10 de este prominente listado. Actualmente, esta producción acumula impresionantes 220 millones de streams y sus videos han superado los asombrosos 920 millones de reproducciones en YouTube.
Este año el grupo recibió el galardón a la Trayectoria Artística por parte de Premios Billboard de la Música Latina y fueron nominados a los Latin Grammy en la categoría de Mejor Álbum de Cumbia / Vallenato por Cumbia del Corazón.
