En 1989, un grupo de jóvenes estudiantes de música en Mazatlán, Sinaloa, decidieron formar una banda con la cual pudieran mostrar al público su aprendizaje y talento; algunos de esos muchachos eran hijos de músicos que trabajaban en La Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga, tal es el caso de Alfonso Lizárraga, hoy por hoy reconocido músico y líder de llamada ‘Madre de todas las bandas’. En principio no sabían cómo llamarla, pero en esas mismas fechas, un gran amigo de la familia Lizárraga, el compositor José Ángel Espinoza ‘Ferrusquilla’, fue distinguido en Mazatlán, al poner su nombre a una calle del puerto. Para tal acontecimiento, don Cruz Lizárraga le dijo al maestro ‘Ferrusquilla’ que en la inauguración de su calle le daría una sorpresa, esta fue que invitó a la banda de jovencitos a que le tocaran algunas canciones. La banda juvenil llamó mucho la atención de los asistentes y del propio homenajeado, quien le preguntó a don Cruz que cómo se llamaba la novel agrupación y ahí entre ellos dos, decidieron bautizarla con el nombre de BANDA SINALOENSE LOS RECODITOS. Así fue como la BANDA SINALOENSE LOS RECODITOS empezó a trabajar en las fiestas tradicionales de Mazatlán y sus alrededores, creciendo su popularidad entre la gente de la región y convirtiéndose en La Primera Banda Juvenil de La Costa del Pacifico. En el 2009, BANDA LOS RECODITOS, cumplió 20 años de carrera artística, por lo que festejaron con una nueva producción discográfica en honor al aniversario, junto a la banda El Recodo titulado “Dos Generaciones”. A mediados de ese año dieron a conocer su nuevo sencillo “¡Ando bien Pedo!”, tema que permaneció por más de 20 semanas en los primeros lugares de popularidad en las listas radiales e incluso llegando al primer lugar en la lista de música en español en general, tanto en Billboard como en Monitor Latino y actualmente sigue colocado como uno de los temas los preferidos del público. Más que “PERFECTA” es la nueva producción de BANDA LOS RECODITOS, que hoy ya está disponible tanto en formato físico como digital y con la cual celebran en grande tres décadas de trayectoria. La Multipremiada agrupación sinaloense festeja 30 años de música con este disco que contiene 10 súper temas, promocionando previamente: “El cigarrito”, “Una peda con el viejo”, “Perfecta” y “Esta va por ti”. LOS RECODITOS celebrarán en grande sus 30 años en el marco del Carnaval de Mazatlán, el próximo mes de febrero del 2020. LOS RECODITOS rompen todos los esquemas, obteniendo premios, rompiendo barreras y dejando una huella imborrable a cada paso que dan… Tres décadas de éxitos… y van por muchos más!
In 1989, a group of young music students in Mazatlán, Sinaloa, decided to form a band to showcase their learning and talent to the public; some of these youngsters were children of musicians who worked in La Banda El Recodo de Cruz Lizárraga, such as Alfonso Lizárraga, now a recognized musician and leader of the so-called ‘Mother of All Bands’. Initially, they didn’t know what to call it, but around that time, a great friend of the Lizárraga family, the composer José Ángel Espinoza ‘Ferrusquilla’, was honored in Mazatlán by having a street named after him in the port city. For this event, Don Cruz Lizárraga told maestro ‘Ferrusquilla’ that he would surprise him at the street’s inauguration. The surprise was that he invited the group of young musicians to play some songs. The youth band caught the attention of the attendees and the honoree himself, who asked Don Cruz what the name of the new group was. Between the two of them, they decided to baptize it with the name BANDA SINALOENSE LOS RECODITOS. And so, BANDA SINALOENSE LOS RECODITOS began performing at traditional Mazatlán festivals and its surroundings, growing in popularity among the local people and becoming The First Youth Band of the Pacific Coast. In 2009, BANDA LOS RECODITOS celebrated 20 years of artistic career, so they celebrated with a new record production in honor of the anniversary, alongside Banda El Recodo, titled “Dos Generaciones”. In mid-year, they released their new single “¡Ando bien Pedo!”, a song that remained at the top of popularity charts for over 20 weeks on radio lists and even reached the top position in the overall Spanish music list, both on Billboard and Monitor Latino, and currently remains one of the public’s favorite songs. More than “PERFECTA” is the new production of BANDA LOS RECODITOS, which is now available in both physical and digital formats and with which they celebrate three decades of career in a big way.
